These terms are the agreement between you and Bartek Rajchel (“we”, “us”) for the Memori Note apps and website. By using Memori Note you accept them. If you don't accept them, please don't use the app.
Memori Note is a note-taking app for Android and iOS, with an optional web app for premium subscribers. Notes are stored on your device. Optional extras — cloud sync, note locking and web access — require a premium subscription.
Creating an account is optional; you can use the app without one.
If you do create an account: give accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be old enough to enter into a contract where you live. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts used for unlawful activity or to abuse the service.
Please read this one. Note sync keeps your notes consistent across your devices. It is a synchronisation feature, not a backup service.
Because it synchronises, a change or deletion made on one device is applied to your other devices and to the cloud copy. Deleting notes on one device deletes them everywhere. Sync cannot restore something you deleted.
We strongly recommend using the app's export feature to keep your own independent backups. We are not liable for note content lost through synchronisation, deletion, device loss, or interruption of the service.
Where two devices have both changed the same note, the most recently saved version wins and the other is replaced. There is no merge or conflict prompt.
Note locking restricts access to selected notes within the app, using a PIN or your device's biometric unlock.
It is an access control, not encryption. It does not protect your notes from someone with access to your unlocked device, from your device backups, or from files you export. Exported files are never encrypted.
Your PIN is stored only on your device and cannot be recovered or reset by us. If you forget it, you will lose access to your locked notes. Locked notes are never uploaded to the cloud, so they cannot be recovered from another device either.
Premium features — including note sync, note locking and web access — require an active subscription bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
If your subscription ends, syncing stops and premium features are locked, but the notes on your device remain yours and remain accessible, and the copy already in the cloud is retained in case you subscribe again.
The web app requires an account with a verified email address and an active subscription. Availability may change, and we may modify or discontinue it. Locked notes are not available on the web.
You own your notes. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, transmit and display them so that the service can work — nothing more.
We do not access, read, sell, or use your note content for advertising or for training AI models.
Don't use Memori Note to store or distribute unlawful material, to infringe anyone's rights, to attempt to break or overload the service, or to access another person's account.
The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and outages at third-party providers — including Google Cloud services — are outside our control.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data or lost profits. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
You may stop using Memori Note at any time, and delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete account or via our account deletion page.
On deletion, notes stored in the cloud are deleted. Notes on your device are unaffected until you remove the app.
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Memori Note after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the law of United Kingdom, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
